London's newest designer crafts gallery is now open in Shoreditch right on the fringes of the City.

The SDC Gallery will provide a new showcase for fine, hand crafted goods made by vigorously selected members of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and other distinguished designers who have excelled in their craftsmanship and skills along with the latest and brightest talents of the year.

It will host both themed exhibitions and a permanent collection, and will be a place for collectors and aficionados alike to browse, to buy or commission work.

Our current show “Enchanted” that runs until 2 August 2008, is showcasing work from 38 designer makers from various disciplines including ceramics, furniture, glass, jewellery, silverware, textiles, woodwork, and mixed media art work.
